We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at our dynamic manufacturing plant, home to our renowned Ricoffy, Milo, and Hot Chocolate products. With a headcount of approximately 315 employees and a significant union presence (63% unionized), this role demands strong operational HR expertise and leadership skills. Extensive exposure to CoC/CoS processes, including Talent Management, Learning Development, Employee Relations, Compensation Benefits, and Recruitment/Resourcing. Proven experience in leading and managing change through organizational design, development, and business transformation techniques. Strong background in industrial and employee/labour relations, including dealing with unions. Successful track record in contributing to and executing people strategies in a business, function, or unit. Experience in a matrix environment, achieving results through effective influencing and collaboration. Degree-level education or equivalent. Strong business acumen and understanding of business performance drivers and long-term direction. Sound general knowledge of employment law and organizational design and development. Exemplary integrity, confidentiality, emotional intelligence, and personal gravitas. Courage to challenge at the highest levels and self-directed in projects and learning. Leadership Requirements: Lead HRBP role with two direct reports: HRBP and Employee Services Administrator. Strong operational HR expertise and leadership skills. Experience working in a unionized environment with strong ER/IR experience. Ability to manage and develop a high-performing team. Contribute to Execute HR Strategy: Develop and implement People Strategies that align with the business plan, attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. Support short and long-term business needs to drive competitive advantage. Act as a People co-Pilot to the business unit, mentoring and coaching the business head and their team. Drive flawless execution of HR Initiatives: Co-ordinate and execute workforce planning for the unit. Provide timely recommendations on the people agenda. Manage effective organizational transformation and change projects using best practice methodologies. Organisational Design Development: Challenge the established organizational structure to drive superior performance. Ensure people issues are key considerations in business planning. Shape the culture to align with company goals and initiatives. Performance Talent Management: Develop the People Plan and Talent Management agenda in cooperation with the Talent CoC. Support key HR processes such as succession planning and performance reviews. Provide insights during top-level interviews. Employee Engagement: Foster positive working relationships through effective communication and cooperation. Lead the promotion of an inclusive, safe, and empowering culture. Coach decision-making in line with company purpose and values. HR Organisational Alignment and Functional Development: Partner with CoCs and HR Services to drive functional development and ensure strategic business needs are met. Drive continuous improvement and share insights with CoCs. Connect externally as the HR People Ambassador for continuous knowledge and improvement.
