Hiring: CAD Technician (Modderfontein)
In this role, you will assist with creating technical drawings and designs using CAD software, supporting engineers and other team members with drafting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
CAD Drafting: Create and modify technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Design Support: Assist engineers in developing design concepts and drafting detailed technical drawings.
Collaboration: Work with project teams to ensure designs meet project specifications.
Document Management: Maintain and organize CAD files and related documentation.
Learning & Development: Continuously improve CAD skills and knowledge of design standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
Experience: No prior work experience required, though internships or related academic projects are a plus.
Skills:
Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Eagerness to learn and develop in the field of design and drafting.
