Job Summary
Qualification and Experience Requirement
- Mechanical Engineering (or Diploma with reasonable experience).
- 8-10 years’ work experience in offshore lifting equipment operation and maintenance, at least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Must have excellent leadership skills and be able to motivate staff for teamwork.
- Good in English language (reading, writing and communication skills).
- Familiar with the use of computerized maintenance management systems such as CMMS System such as SAP.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Have proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical equipment.
- Be verified as competent by NVQ (or equivalent) skills assessors against the competence criteria for maintenance of offshore pedestal cranes, overhead gantry cranes, lifeboat, life-raft davits and winches.
- Be verified as competent by assessors against the competence criteria for Offshore Crane Operator having completed Stage 2 by COMPANY approved training provider (TPI).
- Be verified as competent by assessors against the competence criteria for Overhead gantry cranes by COMPANY approved training provider (TPI).
- Hold Certificate of Competency.
