Job Summary
This individual will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing line efficiencies, and minimizing production downtime within our fast-paced manufacturing environment. With a strong focus on operational excellence, the successful candidate will work closely with operators and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, analyze loss time, and implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Lead and implement continuous improvement projects to optimize production processes.
- Utilize methodologies to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost savings.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.

Optimize Line Efficiencies:
- Analyze and monitor production line performance to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
- Work to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle times, productivity, and machine uptime.
- Identify and eliminate sources of inefficiency across the production process.

Monitor Line Stoppages:
- Investigate and track reasons for line stoppages, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrent stoppages, focusing on root cause analysis.

Analyze Loss Time:
- Use data and analytics to track and measure production losses, focusing on areas such as machine downtime, changeover time, and operator efficiency.
- Analyze trends and recommend corrective actions to address operational inefficiencies.

Collaborate with Operators:
- Work closely with operators to gather insights into potential process improvements.
- Train and mentor operators in best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead workshops or training sessions on process improvements, new procedures, and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in FMCG or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Strong track record in driving continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Experience working with production lines and understanding of process flows and efficiency metrics.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze loss time and recommend corrective actions.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in FMCG/Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
