Job Summary
Our client, based in Glynwood, Benoni, is searching for a dedicated professional to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and providing essential support within a dynamic medical environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in administration, with a particular focus on the medical field, and will thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments, maintaining events calendar, sending reminders
- Co-ordinating and arranging any travel requirements
- Event planning
- Meetings (Physical and online): Scheduling of meetings including agenda, recording and minutes
- Maintaining office supplies and purchases
- Administrative support to ensure effective billing processes
- Acting as a point of contact and dealing with correspondence, phone calls, patients and medical staff
- Management of web page and social media pages
- Research (as determined by the Managing Partner)
- Drafting, copying, formatting, scanning, faxing, texting, WhatsApp, Filing
- Reporting
- Collection and uploading of patient data
- Attendance to any form of enquiries (telephone, physical, email etc)
- Low-level accounting
- Management of support staff such as cleaners
- Liaison with billing and hospital offices
- Liaise and manage suppliers and support staff
- Ensure that offices and kitchen are clean and organised
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric
- Diploma in Office Administration or similar
- A minimum of 10 years of applicable experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in a healthcare environment.
- Preference to applicants with medical office experience

- Strong computer literacy and Microsoft Office expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay up to date and incorporate new technology
