Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Site Account Manager to join our dynamic Sales Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites. This role requires a focus on promoting value-added offerings, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth through account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with key site-level decision-makers.
- Provide continuous process support to improve customer satisfaction and optimize plant operations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and lead generation during plant visits.
- Focus on after-market business, while also identifying and conveying investment (capex) opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and seamless customer service.
- Coordinate customer-facing activities, ensuring the best resources and channels are used.
- Understand customer business needs and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.
- Drive account planning and implementation, including strategy, budgeting, sales roadmap, and activity plans.
- Manage and share information on installed base, plant performance, and shutdown schedules.
- Lead customer satisfaction surveys and ensure continuous improvement efforts.
- Support accounts receivable and payment collection processes.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) required; a degree, diploma, or artisan qualification in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Experience: At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management tools, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in Sales/Account Management: Sales or account management experience is a plus.
- Other Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
