Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client, based in Kempton Park, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring the ongoing operation and efficiency of production systems within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Executing planned and unplanned maintenance and installation activities as directed.
- Planning, communicating, and reporting on maintenance and installation activities.
- Assisting with and performing identified project activities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety systems and protocols at APSAP and customer sites.
Requirements
- Matric certificate with Mathematics and Science or N3 qualification with technical subjects.
- Must be a Red Seal Trade-Tested Artisan (preferably Millwright or Fitter).
- Proven record of Apprenticeship.
- Registered accredited SACGA gas installer (advantageous).
- Valid unendorsed code 08 driver’s license.
- 3-5 years of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance work experience in an engineering environment, preferably within the Industrial or Chemical Industry.
- Cryogenic gas experience (advantageous).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and general computer literacy.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
- Availability for standby on weekends and public holidays.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Medically fit to work at heights.
