Job Description: Debtors Accounting Manager
Location: Randburg, Johannesburg

Salary: R30,000 – R45,000 per month
Position Overview:
Our client in the FMCG sector, located in Randburg, Johannesburg, is seeking a skilled Debtors Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the debtor's accounting function. This role will be responsible for managing a team of six staff members while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the debtor's processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 staff members to achieve departmental goals and deadlines.
- Debtors Management: Oversee all debtor accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and present debtor-related financial reports to management.
- Accounting Operations: Manage and maintain accurate records of all debtor transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve debtor processes to enhance efficiency and minimize risks.
- Customer Relations: Handle escalated client queries and disputes professionally to ensure client satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and best practices in the debtors’ function.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in debtors or accounting management.
- Proven track record of managing a team in a similar role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the full accounting function.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
