Job Summary
Qualification- Relevant Certification or training in inventory management or a related field.
- Experience in a coatings / paints within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in stock control or inventory management.
- Proficiency in using QWIX barcoding software and hardware.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
Duties
- Perform regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and accountability of inventory levels.
- Accurately record bin locations for all stock items to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory management.
- Ensure all stock items are correctly labelled using QWIX barcoding software and hardware to maintain organized and efficient inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to the relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment and stock control.
- Accurately input stock data into the inventory management system and maintain up-to-date records.
- Ensure that all stock items are in good condition and meet quality standards before being stored or dispatched.
- Work closely with other departments, such as procurement and warehouse teams, to coordinate stock control activities.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of all stock movements, counts, and labelling activities.
