Job description:
Waste Control has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and self-driven Sales Manager to join their team. The Sales manager will be responsible for leading the sales team.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Create and implement sales plans and strategies for the department
- Ensure that new business leads are followed up at all times
- Setting sales goals and targets for the department and ensure that the goals and targets are met
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with other divisions of SA Metal Group
- Build and promote strong customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their business needs
- Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to senior management
- Approving sales quotations and managing tender applications and processes
- Continuously identifying areas within the sales department in which the business can improve and implementing such improvement
Minimum Qualifying Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing
- A minimum of between 10 years’ experience in a Sales or Marketing position
- At least 5 years management experience
- Fluent in English and preferably Afrikaans
- Knowledge and experience of waste management is an advantage
- Hands-on experience in budgeting and reporting
- Computer literate - full Microsoft suite
- Valid Code 08 license and own reliable vehicle
