Job Summary
Minimum Requirements:
✅ 7+ years’ post-admission experience in High Court defended/opposed banking litigation, with a focus on foreclosure proceedings.
✅ In-depth knowledge of the Uniform Rules of Court, relevant legislation, and case law applicable to banking litigation.
✅ Good standing with the Legal Practice Council.
Key Responsibilities:
? Managing and progressing a full portfolio of defended foreclosure litigation matters from inception to finalisation.
? Liaising with banks, legal representatives, and clients while ensuring SLA compliance.
? Drafting affidavits, pleadings, and legal opinions with precision.
? Working autonomously while aligning with strategic litigation goals.
? Providing mentorship and supervision to junior attorneys, candidate attorneys, or paralegals (leadership experience is a strong advantage).
? Functioning on CourtOnline & CaseLines.

✔ Familiarity with systems such as CACS, OCS, DM11, SB Legal, Excalibur, and GhostPractice is an advantage.
✔ Willingness to work extended hours when required.
✔ Energetic, assertive, and confident individual with a positive demeanour.
