We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a prominent private hospital in the Middle East. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning and safety of hospital facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of hospital facilities, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, medical gas systems, and other building infrastructure.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations to address issues and minimize disruptions to hospital operations.
- Equipment Repair: Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including medical equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and hospital policies to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other maintenance staff, engineers, and hospital personnel to coordinate maintenance activities and support seamless operations across departments.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to hospital staff on maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols as needed.
- Provide training and technical support to hospital staff on mechanical systems, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, with specific experience in the hospital or healthcare sector preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance techniques and procedures for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and medical equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards applicable to healthcare facilities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed.
