Who are we: A South African-owned marketing business with a focus on the pharmaceutical and FMCG industry.
Who are we looking for: A motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and Events Coordinator to plan, organise and execute a wide range of marketing activities and events.
What will you do:
- Plan, organise and execute company events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches and corporate meetings
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and company initiatives
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event execution
- Create and manage event budgets, timelines and logistics
- Develop promotional materials and content for events, including brochures, flyers, email campaigns and social media posts
- Manage event registration, attendee communication and post-event follow-up
- Conduct market research to identify new event opportunities and trends
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events
- Assist in the development and execution of the company’s overall marketing strategy
- Maintain a database of event contacts and manage CRM systems
What do you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
- Proven experience in marketing and event coordination
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software (e.g., CRM, email marketing tools, social media platforms)
