• 10+ years maintenance experience in industry
• Previous experience as maintenance supervisor or project supervisor
• Previous hands on mechanical/electrical/hydraulic crane technician – offshore cranes not just onshore crawlers/yard cranes
• Offshore experience - worked on vessels/platform pedestal cranes on rotation or regular projects
• Knowledge and experience on crane systems for fault finding diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Knowledge on SLI systems – Robway / MIPEG / Wylie
• Speaks and reads French, same in English
• Has some exposure to SAP / use of maintenance management systems
• Has some exposure to Permit system to prepare permits
• Capable of detailed report writing
•Lead the execution in conjunction with offshore support for all aspects of crane maintenance and inspection work.
•Complete the work site documentation in line with the procedures and work pack, ensure all documents are correctly filled out and signed for job completion.
•Compile onsite procedures and reports for company and client review.
•Ensure Company processes, which allow safe execution of work; are followed at all times.
•Train and develop less experienced local Technicians to develop their skills.
•Main focal point for clients whilst on any offshore/onshore facility.
•Provide client support and leadership onsite via a detailed technical understanding of Cranes.
•Responsible for the safe and productive running of the shift. (offshore)
•Focal point for QHSE related matters on the project at shift level, reporting to the Contract Manager as required.
•Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance programs and practices are followed to ensure maximum up-time for all equipment.
•Workshop based duties, which include assisting with equipment function testing, and maintenance when required.
•Supporting the Project Engineer in the smooth running of the project by reporting any equipment and or client issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
•Records and is responsible for all shift paperwork and client SAP system updating on site for supply to client rep and for return to office.
•Demonstrate commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by ensuring themselves and personnel under their remit identify defects at site and submit Group (and clients) EWOC / STOP Cards in accordance with Contract KPIs.
•Undertake site work scope Risk Assessments as required and compile documentation reports for Engineer review.
•Ensure that all quality and operational procedures as identified in QA Manuals are adhered to at all times.
•Maintain and embrace ownership of departmental policies and procedures.
