Job Summary
A London (UK) based venture-backed fintech business is looking to appoint a Head of Client Services. This will be a remote work opportunity.
The business with global banks and money services businesses, providing market data and analytics and an FX trading and payment initiation platform. They are looking for a Head of Client Services to:
- establish and manage their end-to-end client services function, to take their clients from onboarding to live trading and beyond. This includes completely reviewing and refreshing their client services processes and workflows from the ground up and developing their future client services strategy and team structure;
- hire an international team of client services professionals in a follow-the-sun model;
- manage the client services team; and
- for the right candidate, the role has scope to develop over time to include the development of a Customer Success team.
This is an opportunity for a mid-level client services professional to take the next step in their career by leading a business-critical function at a fast growing and well-funded fintech. We are looking for someone with the aptitude to grow with the business and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Required skills, experience and qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a client services role within a financial services firm.
- Strong functional knowledge of foreign exchange trading platforms.
- Proven track record with tools used to provide first level client services support including Zendesk and Slack.
- Proven ability to develop and implement new processes and workflows.
- Strong attention to detail, self-management, initiative, discipline, and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A natural team player with the ability to develop strong and cooperative internal and external working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
Preferred skills, experience and qualifications:
- Client services experience at a multi-lateral trading facility, ideally foreign exchange (e.g. 360T, FXall etc).
- Experience hiring and managing a client services or a customer success team.
- Experience providing client services for trading protocols including FIX.
