Job Summary
One of our industrial chemical manufacturer clients is urgently looking for an experienced Manufacturing and Lab Assistant to join them on a fixed term contract in PMB, to start 1 March 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the production process
- Coordination
- Maintain inventory levels
- Quality assurance
- Material measurements
- Batch number allocation
- Product testing and sampling
- Record keeping
- SHE compliance
- Work on ISO and production software
- Supervise the raw material measurements
Must have:
- Matric
- Relevant degree
- Must have work experience: production control with chemical manufacturing industry
- Familiar with ISO:45001, ISO: 9001:2015 and SANS accreditation
- Excellent knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
- Excellent English communication
- Able to work under pressure
- Organised
- Familiar with ISO software and production software
- Analytical
- Problem solver
- Great track record - reference checks will be conducted upfront
- Available to start immediately
