Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in capital markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of software solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
- Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and technology.
- Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to identify the best solutions for business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user manuals.
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the capital markets sector.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and trading platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Togaf Certification is highly advantageous
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with capital markets software, such as Calypso.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- BPM Experience is highly advantageous
