About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within the company. This role involves maintaining records, conducting audits, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring that all SHEQ protocols are adhered to across the organization. The role is not intended to be restrictive, and the successful candidate may at times be required to undertake duties beyond the confines of his/her usual job.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Reporting to the Managing Director on a regular basis about the OHS system and IMS performance or any other duties that may be assigned.
Investigate environmental incidents, implementing corrective measures to address and rectify issues.
Communicate and implement newly developed documented information internally.
Manage and investigate environmental incidents, implementing corrective measures to address and rectify issues.
General oce and other duties as may be defined by the Managing Director.
Requirements
Matric.
Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, or Environmental/quality management will be advantageous.
Basic Computer Literacy Skills.
Organizational, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills.
Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
