This position will oversee the logistics and distribution operations for fleet tracking products, ensuring efficient stock management, timely order fulfilment, and accurate project forecasting. This role is essential for maintaining streamlined distribution processes and supporting the overall project lifecycle, from inventory planning to product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage all aspects of warehousing and distribution projects, ensuring efficient and timely movement of fleet tracking products from storage to client deployment.
- Stock Management and Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels and distribution of products. Ensure sufficient stock is maintained to meet project requirements and minimize delays.
- Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production teams to forecast demand, plan stock availability, and coordinate resources to meet project deadlines.
- Distribution Coordination: Ensure smooth logistics operations, including packaging, transportation, and delivery of products to various locations, with attention to accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, shipments, and order statuses, ensuring compliance with warehousing and distribution regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a small distribution and logistics team, fostering efficient teamwork and effective communication.
- Project Forecasting: Develop and maintain project forecasts, budgeting for stock needs and distribution costs while optimizing resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics or distribution management, preferably within a telematics environment.
- Qualification in Logistics or Project Management (e.g., PMP, Diploma in Logistics) is highly advantageous.
- Experience with warehousing operations and stock management systems, with a solid understanding of inventory control processes.
- Proven ability in production planning, distribution coordination, and forecasting for efficient resource management.
- People Management Skills with experience in leading small teams in warehousing or distribution contexts.
