Job Overview:
Our client, a leader in the telecommunications sector, is seeking Intern Customer Service Agents (Technical) to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for customer service and a solid understanding of technical concepts in the telecoms and IT industry. The position requires a blend of customer service skills and technical know-how to assist customers with their queries, resolve issues, and provide high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and customer service to clients via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot telecoms and IT-related issues, offering effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Log and document all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the company's CRM system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher support levels as needed while maintaining communication with the customer.
- Assist with network setup, device configuration, and basic troubleshooting of telecom products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products, services, and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Customer Experience (CX), IT Helpdesk, or IT Service Desk roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of telecoms and IT concepts is mandatory.
- Qualifications: Minimum of a Certificate or Higher National Certificate in a technical field, such as A+, N+, or telecommunications.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Roodepoort or reside in the surrounding areas with easy access to the work location.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a passion for helping customers with technical queries.
