We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to join our client in the mining sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of SAP MM modules to streamline procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes within a mining environment. The role requires hands-on experience with SAP MM configurations, integration with other SAP modules, and strong knowledge of business processes related to mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and support the SAP MM module to optimize procurement and inventory processes.
  
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
  
• Perform system configurations, enhancements, and integrations with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP PM, SAP FI/CO).
  
• Conduct end-user training, provide ongoing support, and troubleshoot issues related to SAP MM.
  
• Manage data migration and ensure accuracy in master data related to materials, vendors, and purchase orders.
  
• Ensure compliance with mining industry standards, regulations, and best practices in materials management.
  
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure system stability and performance.
  
• Lead and support SAP MM-related projects, including upgrades, testing, and go-live activities.
  
• Provide documentation, including functional specifications, process workflows, and user guides.
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of SAP MM consulting experience, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  
• SAP Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration, procurement processes, inventory management, and invoice verification.
  
• Integration Skills: Knowledge of integration with SAP SD, SAP PM, SAP FI/CO, and third-party procurement systems.
  
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, and ABAP debugging is a plus.
  
• Project Experience: Proven experience in SAP MM full-cycle implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
  
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with mining procurement and supply chain regulations.
  
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize business processes through SAP solutions.
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  
• Certifications: SAP MM certification is an advantage.
