Job Summary
Our client in the Textile Manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee relationships with their most important clients. The ideal candidate will be adept at building strong relationships with strategic customers, understanding their needs, and promoting business growth. The goal is to sustain and grow the business for long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop trust relationships with key clients to ensure loyalty and prevent them from turning to competitors.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing new solutions that meet their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Serve as the communication link between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and handle complaints to maintain strong relationships.
- Play an integral part in generating new sales to establish long-lasting relationships.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Achieve or exceed sales and margin targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the Textile or Apparel Industry.
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Formal qualification advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage and maintain critical paths.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve or exceed sales and margin targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to follow through on customer contracts.
- Ability to grow existing product offerings while introducing new product opportunities.
- Experience in identifying and developing new customers.
- Ability to monitor market trends and provide regular competitor feedback.
