Job Summary
ROLE PURPOSE:
To provide technical assistance to the processing centre and sales ensuring optimal utilisation of equipment and maximum throughput.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, and KNOWLEDGE:
- Project Management Diploma or relevant IT Diploma
- Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
- Minimum of 1.5 years of technical experience in a document processing environment
- Experience with Microsoft SQL and Access databases is advantageous
- Technical expertise in Data Management is beneficial for contributing to the improvement of the Image Processing Centre
- Strong problem-solving abilities, crucial for addressing challenges and fine-tuning solutions to enhance processes
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Management:
- Manage IPC process throughputs and analyze scheduled expectancies
- Provide technical assistance on equipment and software in the Processing Centre
- Evaluate job requirements and recommend methodologies to maximize throughput and accuracy
- Offer technical support to clients onsite and via phone
- Ensure equipment uptime through scheduled maintenance and servicing
- Report on maintenance and consumable usage to the Processing Centre Manager
- Assist in recommending methodology and equipment for jobs
- Support sales in presenting IPC processes and software
- Assist with setup of new equipment and software for projects
- Knowledge of networking and software platforms
- Conduct data analysis, merging, importing, and uploading
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
People Management:
- Ensure staff are trained, and skilled, and their expertise is effectively utilized
- Foster a positive work environment to boost morale and productivity
- No supervisory responsibilities
