Job Summary
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients across various ecommerce and retail sectors.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities including cold calling, email campaigns, and qualify leads according to our ideal customer profile and sales criteria.
- Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in our CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified leads and opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and our product offerings.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation strategies.
- Provide feedback on prospect pain points and market needs.
Your Skills And Experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or ecommerce technology.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Resilient, self-motivated personality with a drive to succeed.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot).
- Experience with sales prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of ecommerce platforms, ERPs or inventory management systems.
- Understanding of integration technologies and API concepts.
- Experience in the retail, wholesale or distribution sectors.
- Familiarity with the challenges that businesses face in omnichannel selling.
