Job Summary
Job Objective:
The salesperson will oversee the management of the company's relationships with its customers. They oversee and develop new market, new customers, building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company. The goal is to keep clients or accounts as long as possible. Will oversee finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combinations thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and identify new C&I clients, including businesses, manufacturers and government institutions.
- Stay current on industry trends and opportunities for solar power in the commercial and industrial sector.
- Develop a sales strategy to generate qualified leads and secure new C&I solar projects.
- New business and the promotion of Renewable Energy.
- Establish new business and promotion of Commercial and Industrial Renewable Energy.
- Independently write presentations and proposals that showcase the economic and environmental advantages proposed solar solutions.
- Assist customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in-person meeting and presentations.
- Be the primary point of contact and the building of long-term relationships with customers.
- Develop a trusted advisory relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor and analyse customer's usage of our product.
Requirements:
- National Diploma: Electrical Engineering, Sales, Business Management, Finance or related fields.
- At least 3 years Proven Sales Work Experience in the Solar Industry.
- Must have a financial background.
- Must have 3-5 years' experience in Distribution
- Must have 3-5 years' experience in EPC projects.
- Must be a citizen of Mozambique.
- Ability to speak Portuguese and English
- Must have own transport.
- Must possess good communication skills - written and verbal
- Professional, self-motivated and target driven.
