Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Piping Engineer with extensive experience in oil and gas project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing piping engineering activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing projects through various EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical piping design, analysis, and project execution for oil and gas projects.
- Manage piping system engineering from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all EPC project phases.
- Review and approve piping system designs, specifications, and calculations.
- Conduct stress analysis, material selection, and piping layout reviews.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, civil, and instrumentation engineers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Prepare and present technical reports and project documentation.
- Identify and resolve engineering issues and implement best practices in mechanical piping systems.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience as a Mechanical Piping Engineer.
- Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Industry Experience: Oil and gas project management experience, with exposure to EPC phases.

- Experience with piping stress analysis, material selection, and failure analysis.
- Strong understanding of welding, corrosion control, and fabrication methods.
- Ability to review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and piping layouts.
