Insurance Compliance and Contracts Manager (Law degree + Caseware + Sage Intact), Centurion, R500 – 1.2k ctc
- Bachelor of Law Degree
- 5 years’ post degree experience
- Certificate in area of Governance, Risk and Compliance.
- King Code on Governance Principles for South Africa.
- CaseWare.
o Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Sage Intact (Advantageous)
To ensure that the CLIENT adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. Enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Periodically review and enhance compliance programmes to comply with regulatory and organisation requirements and objectives.
- Periodically conduct and oversee the internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed. Provide advice and training where non- compliance if identified.
- Collaborate with the relevant departments to review, modify (if applicable) and implement organisation policies.
- Conduct or direct internal investigation of compliance
- Informing, educating, and training of employees on matters that are associated with regulations and industry practices.
- Reviewing and enhancing plans to effectively manage a crisis of compliance
- Staying up to date with internal standards, regulatory developments both within and outside the organisation, as well as evolving best practice.
- Working with external auditors and internal auditors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and business partners.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Discussing compliance issues with the Head of Compliance, and / or
- Ensuring and verifying that all regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated to all the stakeholders.

Contract Management
- Custodian of all contracts between the CLIENT and third

- Prepare, draft, revise and negotiate contracts with suppliers, and other relevant

- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and
