Role: Insurance Administrator
Location: Gqeberha
Employment Type: Permanent. Full time. In office
Working hours: 08:30am – 4:30pm (Mon-Fri)
Our client an independent brokerage working with top life insurance and investment companies like Old Mutual, Ninety One, Sanlam, and many more. We're seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Administrator to handle policy management, client support, and office administrative tasks.
Duties will include, but is not limited to:
- Process insurance policy applications, renewals, amendments, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate client and policy records in the system.
- Liaise with insurance providers to obtain quotes, update policies, and address queries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing policy-related inquiries.
- Prepare and send policy documentation and statements to clients.
- Coordinate with brokers to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Assist with claims processing, including documentation submission and client updates.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, reporting, and data entry.
- Identifying ways to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in insurance administration, policy servicing, or client support roles within the insurance or finance sector.
- Matric + additional certifications in insurance or customer service are an advantage.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and prioritize workflow.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Strong emotional intelligence with a proactive mindset and critical thinking abilities.
- Reliable, honest, and a strong work ethic.
