Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced electrician who can install, maintain, and repair electrical systems /components in factories, working with power, communication, lighting, PLCs, drives and control systems, using tools and specialized knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation - Setting up new electrical systems and components.
- Maintenance - Regularly inspecting and ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Repair - Diagnosing and fixing electrical problems, troubleshooting or malfunctions.
- Testing - Using specialized equipment to check and test electrical systems for faults
- Wiring - Connecting and disconnecting wires, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Drawings - Reading and interpreting drawings to understand electrical layouts and schematics.
- Problem Solving - Identifying and solving electrical issues, often requiring quick thinking and adaptability.
Requirements
- Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical theory, codes, and regulations.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to diagnose and fix electrical problems effectively.
- Safety Awareness: Adhering to strict safety procedures to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Trade tested (N1 – N6)
- At least 5 years working experience in the packaging industry preferably plastic.
- Preferably some training on drives
