Job Summary
Our client, a leading innovator in financial wellness and inclusion, has developed a platform that enables employees to access their already earned wages early (EWA). They are now looking for a Developer – Technical Support to join their team.
Requirements:
- Computer Science Qualification or similar
- C# & SQL (anything over that in our stack is a bonus)
About the Role
- Provide Level 2 - Level 3 technical support
- Raised via customer/client support
- Raised via DataDog and Alerts
- Incident and problem co-ordination with Core Development Team
- Analyse and write SQL stored procedures in resolving issues
- Develop SQL scripts and modification of existing ones
- Resolve escalated issues and report software defects via Jira Service Management
- Support planning and implementation of changes/upgrades
- Adhere to internal SLA
- Log and report production issues (incident report)
- Assist core development with Database maintenance
- Improve and enhance PMN’s internal Admin platform
- analyse user requirements
- develop according to specifications, user requirements, and best practices.
- write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
- conduct unit testing & debugging
- version control & documentation
- troubleshooting & support
- recommend and execute improvements
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular system maintenance tasks
- Documenting system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference
Other:
- After hours standby and on weekend and holidays on a rotational basis
- Must live near Stellenbosch or Northern Suburbs area to be able to work onsite.
- Own reliable transport (advantageous)
