JOB DESCRIPTION
The Waste Control division currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and organized Finance Manager to join their team. The position requires an efficient individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Review and check all debtors invoicing to ensure that it is accurate and complete
- Approval of sales order quotes
- Reconciliation of complex accounts
- Communicating with customers regarding queries
- Manage, develop, mentor and lead the finance team
- Approval of purchase orders
- Bank reconciliation
- Implement and maintain Financial controls
- Internal auditing and ensuring completeness of source documents
- Provide regular updates on departmental performance
QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant degree or Accounting Diploma qualification
- A minimum of 10 years work experience in a finance or financial administration position
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
- Experience in using ACCPAC is an added advantage
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel knowledge is a must
