Master Data Management (MDM) & Data Quality is a MUST
- Requirements specifications
- Liaison with SMEs and data governance forums
- Data catalogue including ownership/stewardship – master & reference data
- Data dictionary – master & reference data
- Functional, system & integration testing specifications
- Validate MDM implementation regarding business requirements/expectations
- Solution documentation
- Business and data rules specification & maintenance for:
- User Interfaces
- Workflows
- Data transformations
- Data cleansing (parse, standardise, de-noise, derive, augment, enrich)
- Data match & merge/link/dedupe
- Analysis of data profiling
- Analysis of DQ Assessment
- Analysis & QA of transformation & cleansing
- Analysis & QA of data matching
- Analysis & QA of data merge/link/dedupe
- Data quality & cleansing progress reporting
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science or Information Systems, or BCom is preferred
- +10 years of experience including Data Quality Reporting, Data Analytics, Business Analysis , MDM including other Data Management disciplines will be an advantage.
- 5+ year’s commercial Business Analysis experience.
- 5+ year’s Data Analysis experience
- Strong hands-on SQL experience for the purposes of interrogating data
- Experience with BI reporting tools such as static reporting, analytics, and visualisation tools
- Experience with MDM implementation regarding business requirements/expectations
- Experience testing and data quality assurance processes
- Analytical thinking, Team work
- Problem solving skills
- Possesses good understanding in the areas of database and data warehouse design.
- Efficient database design and experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies: Analysis Services, T-SQL, Integration Services and Reporting Services.
- Experience with data dictionaries, master & reference data, data catalogues
- Data mining capabilities.
