Job Summary
Hire Resolve has partnered with a leading Financial Service Provider, which is looking for a dynamic and driven professional to join their team.
As an FP&A Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to support business decision-making and performance management.
The FP&A Specialist will report to the Group Director FP&A and work closely with CFO, and the group executive team to ensure all internal and external reporting and analysis needs are met.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and comprehend business issues; propose and carry out solutions.
- Teaming up with the executive team to develop the company's medium to the long-term financial and strategic plan.
- Modeling long-term growth and determining the business elements that influence it.
- Evaluating and recommending modifications to projections and budgets generated by your analysts.
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of fundamental financial planning and analysis, such as planning, spending, predicting, report generation, and other tasks.
- Working with various business units to forecast income and expenses for the next few years.\
- Provide comprehensive review and commentary on cost center findings.
- Generally, uphold the values of the Company
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with financial planning software and systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and corporate governance.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Certifications such as CA(SA) or CFA would be advantageous
