Job Summary
Position: Intermediate Database Administrator (Rosebank)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize database systems for peak performance.
Apply patches, upgrades, and fine-tune queries to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with developers to design and implement scalable database solutions.
Plan for data storage growth and ensure disaster recovery strategies are in place.
Automate tasks with PowerShell or similar tools to streamline processes.
Provide user support and maintain clear, concise documentation.
Stay ahead of the curve by learning about the latest technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on database management experience.
Strong SQL skills and a knack for performance tuning.
Familiarity with Linux and experience with automation tools like PowerShell.
Problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
