Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Loss Adjuster.
Requirements:
- Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent – Essential
- Regulatory Examination – Essential
- Forensic Investigation Diploma / Insurance Institute qualification - Advantageous
- Mathematics and African Language - Advantageous
- Forensic Investigation and investigation knowledge.
- 5+ years’ experience in investigative work/ 2+ years’ experience in (essential):
- Insurance
- Police
- Forensic
- Audit
- Legal
- Basic legal and insurance industry knowledge.
- Be available to travel.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and support sound quality of claims decision making, prevent fraud and manage expenditure.
- Validate claims by investigating, applying expertise and interviewing customers and other parties.
- Accurately administrate and underwrite claims.
- Processing cases, dealing with complicated queries and investigating customer problems.
- Planning activities for training and coaching.
- Provide technical guidance when required.
- Stakeholder management
