Job Summary

Your BCom degree in a related field, as well as a keen interest in investments, financial planning and the economy, coupled with a healthy measure of people influencing, may be ideal for this opportunity in an Investments Advisory consultancy.
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in growing the business by expanding the network of independent advisors who subscribe to the investment proposition offered by the company. He/she will ensure that existing advisor clients have a great experience in dealing with Amity through effective communication, consistent delivery of the designed service model, delivering training initiatives, and providing support to advisors in building their financial advice businesses and delivering their investment proposition to clients.
Responsibilities
- Grow the network of independent financial advisors who subscribe to the client's investment proposition
- Manage the relationship with existing advisor clients by implementing the client's service model
- Develop and deliver a communication strategy and content to advisers, prospective advisor clients and the end client
- Provide support to the network of advisors and their clients
- Provide training to advisors on outcomes-based investment solutions, tools and investment planning proposition
- Enhancing the value and service proposition
- Develop marketing initiatives to build the company’s brand
- Collate and maintain business development reports and databases
- Plan and co-ordinate advisor and client events
- Assist with ad-hoc presentations to financial advisors and clients who request a spokesperson from the client.
- Provide para-planning support to advisors on an ad-hoc basis
- Keep up to date with all aspects of the financial advice, collective Investment and LISP industry – including the regulatory environment.
- Research and be familiar with competitor products in the industry to position the client's solutions appropriately with advisors/clients.
- Record and report back to management regarding the delivery of the service model i.e. client interactions and meetings.
Minimum requirements:
- B.Com in investments, economics, business sciences or related
- CFP would be advantageous
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- 5+ years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, which should include significant engagement with Independent Advisors
- Afrikaans and English proficiency
