Job Summary
Main responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Preparation of Beneficial Ownership Registers and all supporting documents.
- Sending of letters and reminders for Beneficial Ownership Reporting.
- Submission of Beneficial Ownership Registers to CIPC.
- Communicating with clients and sending confirmation certificates.
- Filing of all Beneficial Ownership records.
- Maintenance, updating and upkeep of Beneficial Ownership Lists and Reports.
- Verification of Share Registers.
- Updating and capturing of Share Registers.
- Updating of GreatSoft.
- Assist with Annual Returns as and when required.
Experience and qualifications:
- Matric
- 3 - 4 years’ experience within a processing environment
- Experience within an Audit and Accounting firm (preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of shareholding and in particular:
- Interpreting and understanding Share Registers
- Accurate capturing of historic shareholding
- Share allotments / transfers / buybacks
- Authorised share capital changes
- Experience with Beneficial Ownership Reporting to CIPC (advantageous)
- Experience with Annual Returns and supporting documents (preparation and submission)
Knowledge competencies:
- Working knowledge of GreatSoft, Excel, Adobe, Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of company legislation
- Knowledge of a business environment
