Job Summary
Qualification:
- BCom Degree in Accounting or an equivalent Tertiary
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in administration, finance, HR roles
- A minimum of 3 years of Supervisory / Management Experience Code 08-license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Syspro software experience will be an advantage
- Strong IT Skills will be an advantage
- Understanding of Budget Management and Financial Monitoring
- Effective Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Effective Conflict Resolution and Problem-Solving Skills
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask as well as a hands-on approach
Requirements:
- Financial management of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance to support strategic decision-making
- Debtors & Creditors Management: Supervise functions and personnel related to both
- Creditors and Debtors, reconciliations of accounts and monthly statements
- Check creditor reconciliations, and handle cash flow, COD, and sundry payments
- Administering of UIF, PAYE, Medical and Insurance payments
- Cashbook & GL Management: Process cashbooks, manage the general ledger, and ensure accurate month-end reporting
- Process all transactions, including petty cash, and journals, and ensure supporting documentation is received
- Submission of VAT, Taxes, and Levies to SA Revenue Services
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Track employee leave and keep a record of leave taken by each employee (Annual/Sick/FRL)
- Verifying Timesheets
- Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keep a record of and manage medical aid / provident fund changes
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from posting job openings to onboarding new employees
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with labour laws
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution
- Department of Labour Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour regulations
- Support the MD with EE management
