Job Summary
We are looking for a Tax Compliance Administrator to join our PKF Durban team.
JOB PURPOSE:
Assist with the preparation of company, individual and trust tax returns.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attending to Income Tax registrations and deregistration for Individuals, Trust and Companies
- Turnover Tax Registrations
- Withholding Tax on Interest Registrations
- Exempt Institutions registration with SARS
- PAYE and VAT registrations and deregistration
- Customs registrations and all customs related queries
- Foreign clearance applications
- Tax clearance applications
- Updating of registered representative
- Merging of tax types
- Year End Changes with SARS
- Updating details with SARS and on Efiling- registered details
- Assisting with the transfer of tax profile requests
- SARS Appointments to submit manual returns
- SARS appointments as and when required for various queries
- Various SARS and Efiling related queries
- Assist with individual and Trust tax returns
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must have the knowledge of Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act
- Knowledge of E-filing
- Accfin knowledge (Preferable)
- Be able to work well under pressure and manage deadlines as required by SARS
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a Matric certificate
- Must have 2 or more years within a Tax environment
