About the Client:
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the investments industry, committed to providing insightful, data-driven market analysis and innovative investment strategies. They are seeking a sharp, driven, and passionate Legal and Compliance Manager/Officer to join their team, with a particular focus on stock market research, financial modelling, and analysis of financial statements. The successful candidate will work remotely from home in South Africa but needs to reside in the Western Cape because the company has a small office in Stellenbosch.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A recognized compliance certification (e.g., ICA, CISA, CAMS) is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial services industry.
- Experience of in-house legal and compliance work.
- Need to have a background in UK law and/or UK FCA compliance
Area: Western Cape
Salary offered: Market related depending on number of years’ experience.
Starting date: As soon as possible.
