In this role, you will:

• Deliver functional and technical specifications to development teams.
• Develop technical specs for products and processes, including integration mapping.
• Create logical system designs.
• Analyse non-functional requirements to ensure performance and scalability.
• Assist with quality assurance, UI prototypes, and design processes.
• Support iteration planning, scoping, and risk mitigation strategies.

To succeed, you’ll need:

Qualifications:

• Matric and a relevant IT qualification (systems design, UML, OO A&D).

Experience:

• 3–4 years in system analysis and design.
• 5+ years in IT.
• Life assurance or financial services experience is advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, object-oriented concepts, and SOA.
• Understanding of web technologies and technical specifications.
• Understanding of the SDLC Methodology.
• Basic understanding of UML (Class, Activity, Entity Relation Diagrams, etc.).
• Understanding of OO concepts, design principles, and patterns.
• Good knowledge of the following technologies will be beneficial:

• NET C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET
• MVC, MCF, LinQ
• HTML, CSS, XML
• JavaScript, JQuery, Json
