Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join the team at a prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in payroll processes, have strong organizational skills, and experience working with both LabourNet and CyberPay systems.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years' experience in a payroll-specific role
Proven working knowledge of LabourNet and CyberPay
Strong understanding of payroll best practices and current labor legislation
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Key Responsibilities:
Processing monthly payroll for hotel staff accurately and on time
Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor and tax laws
Managing payroll records and handling queries from employees
Preparing and submitting payroll reports to management
Working closely with HR and finance departments to ensure data accuracy
Coordinating leave, overtime, and employee benefits in payroll
Keeping up to date with changes in payroll regulations and systems
