Position Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst with expertise in Calypso, Java SDLC, and SQL databases. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing systems solutions that enhance the efficiency and performance of their capital markets software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document system requirements.
• Analyze and design technical solutions that meet business needs and improve system functionality.
• Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Calypso, Java, and SQL databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure the robustness and reliability of applications.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role in the capital markets sector.
• Strong proficiency in Calypso, Java, and SQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ Years of Experience with additional capital markets software and solutions.
• Knowledge of financial instruments and trading platforms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
