PKF Cape Town is looking for a Junior Quality Manager to join their team!
Requirements:
- Registered CA(SA)
- 2 years post articles experience
- Working knowledge of ISQM 1 & 2 and the IRBA Code.
- Expert knowledge of the ISAs.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SME.
- A passion for all things technical.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Deadline driven.
- An excellent communicator of quality material, decisions, and policies.
- Comfortable interacting with senior staff and partners
- Working knowledge of CaseWare, Excel, Word, Pastel, Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience in GreatSoft would be an advantage.
- Own transport, a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel. (Beneficial but not a prerequisite)
- Good communication skills
Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist with the execution, implementation and/or monitoring of all the quality procedures and requests contained in the PKF Cape Town System of Quality Management Manual including:
- File Reviews
- Process for the retention and assembling of engagement files
- Managing the process and final compilation of the IRBA fee declaration
- Client acceptance procedures
- Perform ISQM monitoring procedures
- Attend RCC meetings
- Assist with Technical queries to partners and managers
- Identify areas of training based on quality reviews, preparing content and providing training.
- Assist with developments of the audit software, including design of standard working papers.
- Assist with facilitation of file and firm revies (network and IRBA)
- Assist with quality reporting to network (PKF SA) and IRBA
