Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client at an international accounting firm. The successful candidate will oversee client accounts and be responsible for financial management and reporting. While overseeing accounts, you must be willing to handle transaction processing to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple client accounts.
- Perform full accounting functions, including transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Utilize Caseware for financial reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure accurate VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions.
- Assist with audit preparations and liaise with auditors as necessary.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to clients for informed decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CA(SA) or AGA designation is essential.
- 3 to 5 years of post-qualification accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Caseware is required.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
- Experience in managing multiple client portfolios is advantageous.
