Job Title: Head of Business Development - Solar

Summary:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development to lead our efforts in growing their solar division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and establish strong partnerships within the solar industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar sector
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners
- Lead a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and lead generation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the solar industry
- Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth and expanding market share
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of solar technologies, regulations, and market dynamics
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
