Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Engineer / Structural Engineer with substantial experience in Oil and Gas Project Management Engineering, particularly in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural engineering, construction management, and project execution. This role will support the Jafurah Project and involve working on large-scale structural design, analysis, and construction phases, ensuring compliance with all engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering activities for Oil and Gas projects, focusing on the Jafurah Project.
• Oversee EPC phases of the project, including engineering, material procurement, and construction management, with a particular emphasis on structural design and construction management.
• Provide technical direction for structural design, analysis, and construction methods, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
• Review and approve structural designs, drawings, calculations, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the structural engineering scope of work.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Provide support during construction and commissioning phases, troubleshooting structural issues and implementing design solutions as needed.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise the quality control of structural works to ensure compliance with the design, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Work closely with project management teams to track project performance and resolve any engineering challenges in a timely manner.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, with a focus on Oil and Gas projects.
  • Extensive experience in the EPC phases of projects, with emphasis on structural engineering and construction management.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale structural design and construction projects, preferably in the Jafurah Project or similar Oil and Gas environments.
  • Strong experience with structural analysis, design codes, and materials used in the Oil and Gas industry.

• Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge in structural engineering design, analysis, and construction.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Advanced technical and soft skills, with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to present a professional and well-presented demeanor at all times.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software for structural engineering and project management.
