Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Pr Bridge Designer to join our client's team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions. As a Pr Bridge Designer, you will be responsible for working on various projects, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring the design meets all required standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for various types of bridge structures, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and specifications.
• Prepare construction documentation, including drawings, calculations, and project reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, including civil engineers, architects, and designers to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess conditions for design requirements.
• Perform structural analysis and load rating assessments of existing bridges.
• Participate in project meetings and provide inputs for project strategy and design direction.
• Mentor and train junior staff in bridge design principles and software tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bridge design.
• Professionally Registered Engineer (PR Eng) with a recognized engineering body.
• COTO Registered (Advantageous) 
• SANRAL Projects experience
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant structural analysis tools.
• Excellent understanding of bridge design codes and standards.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
