Hire Resolve is actively seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Gauteng to join our client, a leading manufacturer known for their commitment to quality and innovation. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in operating and programming CNC machines to ensure the production of precision components in accordance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines for the manufacturing of components
- Read and analyse engineering drawings and specifications
- Program CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues
- Perform quality inspections of finished products to meet specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Technical qualification in machining or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining
- Proficient in using CNC milling machines and related tools
- Experience with programming G-code and popular software such as Mastercam
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
