Description:
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Workshop Manager for our client based in Bloemfontein, Free State. As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the workshop, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring efficient and effective workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of workshop management processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technicians and administrative staff
- Manage technicians work load, performance and work quality
- Perform maintenance on plant as required
- Stock management of critical spares
- Manage control and standard of workshop equipment and housekeeping
- Planning and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules
- Implement and maintain health and safety procedures & ISO quality requirements
- Initiate cost and manage critical improvement projects across all operational areas
- Manage repairs and maintenance budget
Requirements:
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic with 10 years experience on construction plant and equipment
- At least 5 years proven experience as a Workshop Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Sound knowledge of workshop management processes and procedures
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Proficient in MS Office
- Valid driver's license
